To install the Oracle Solaris Operating System, complete the following procedures in this order:
Obtain the Oracle Solaris Operating System installation media.
The installation media for the Solaris Operating System is shipped with your server.
Download the latest drivers and utilities available for your server as described in .
Choose and set up an installation method for deploying the Oracle Solaris installation as described in Appendix A, Supported Installation Methods.
Follow the instructions for performing the Oracle Solaris installation as described in Chapter 2, Installing Oracle Solaris.
Follow the instructions for performing Oracle Solaris post installation tasks as described in Post Installation Tasks.
