This figure shows the Oracle CEP server lifecycle. There are two initial events: you start the server with deployed applications or you deploy an application. The initial state is STARTING
. After the application context is created, the application transitions to the INITIALIZING
state. After all runnable components are started, the application transitions to the RUNNING
state. If you uninstall the application or suspend the application, the application transitions from the RUNNING
state to the SUSPENDED
state. If you are uninstalling the application, the ApplicationRuntimeMBean is unregistered and the uninstall completes. If you resume the application, the application transitions from the SUSPENDED
state to the STARTING
state. If an error occurs at any time, the application transitions from its current state to the FAILED
state.
