This illustration shows a typical IBM WebSphere ND cell topology with three nodes. All IBM WebSphere ND cells have a Cell Manager node, which is for the Deployment Manager. In this example, the cell contains two additional Application Server nodes, Node 1 and Node 2. Each of the Application Server nodes has a Node Agent for communicating with the Deployment Manager. The Administration Server and a standalone server reside on Node 1. A standalone server resides on Node 2. The configuation also contains one cluster with two cluster members, with one cluster member on Node 1 and the second cluster member on Node 2.
