Sorting by Column Value

You can sort the items in a table by the column's value, in ascending or descending order.

Items beginning with a capital letter will be grouped together first, followed by items in lowercase, for example:

Andrew

Danielle

Sam

andrew

danielle

sam

To sort a table by the column's value

1. Mouse hover over the column heading until you see the ascending and descending sort arrows.
2. To sort the table items in ascending order, click .

To sort the table items in descending order, click .

The items are resorted.

Please note:

• Any changes you make to the table display are not saved.
• Your system administrator may have customized your table column heading names. Contact your system administrator for more information.
