Use the FAP2XML utility to convert a FAP file into an XML file.
You can use this utility to prepare snippets of FAP files for editing in iPPS. You can also use it to get a list of the fields in a section or form. This is useful when you are creating your own iPPS user interface or data feeds based on forms in your MRL.
Note | This utility is intended for iPPS manuscripting support and is not used by the Documaker system. Neither IDS or Documaker Studio can read the resulting file and turn it into a FAP or NA file. |
