Issues Detected

An appeal may be configured go through a number of automated checks or validations before it is processed. If any of the validations fail, the appeal will transition to an issues detected or error state.

An issues list will appear in the right-hand column of the appeal zone. The user can edit the appeal and correct any errors. After saving the changes, the user can then use the Validate action for the system to apply the validation rules on the updated appeal.

Users with the appropriate security access can bypass the Validate action to override the automated checks and transition the appeal directly to a ready for review state.

If the validations were carried out using an Oracle Policy Automation rulebase, a link to the decision report from the rule will be stored as log entry.
