B Uninstalling Oracle WebCenter Analytics

This appendix discusses how to uninstall Oracle WebCenter Analytics.

Uninstalling Oracle WebCenter Analytics on Windows

To uninstall Oracle WebCenter Analytics on Windows:

  1. Stop the following services:

    • BEA AL Analytics service

    • BEA AL Analytics Collector service

  2. Use the Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Program utility to launch the Oracle WebCenter Analytics uninstall wizard.

    Note:

    We recommend that you do not uninstall Logging Utilities if other components or products that use Logging Utilities are installed on the same server as Oracle WebCenter Analytics.

  3. Follow the directions in the Oracle WebCenter Analytics uninstall wizard to uninstall Oracle WebCenter Analytics.

Uninstalling Oracle WebCenter Analytics on UNIX/Linux

To uninstall Oracle WebCenter Analytics on UNIX and Linux, launch the uninstaller for Oracle WebCenter Analytics 10.3.0.2. by running: /opt/bea/userinteraction/uninstall/ptanalytics/version/Uninstall WebCenter Analytics

Delete Oracle WebCenter Analytics Objects from the Portal

After uninstalling Oracle WebCenter Analytics, the Oracle WebCenter Analytics objects remain in Oracle WebCenter Interaction. Perform the following steps to remove these objects from the portal:

  1. Log in to the portal as an administrator.

  2. Click Administration.

  3. Select the Analytics folder, and click the delete icon on the toolbar.

  4. When asked if you want to immediately delete all subfolders and objects stored in the folder, click OK.
