Note: The individual Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) products are announced and released on the Oracle download sites on separate schedules. This document provides an overview of the 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) downloads. It is not a comprehensive list. |
Before you download any Oracle Fusion Middleware software, review your existing environment and determine your specific operating system versions, including whether you are using 32-bit or 64-bit systems.
Many Oracle products provide specific 32-bit and 64-bit downloads. As a result, it is important to make note of your specific operating system requirements before starting any downloads.
Review the following documents to be sure that the Oracle Fusion Middleware software you want to download is supported on your existing software and hardware.
Note: When checking the certification information for each of the products you want to install, be sure to check specifically for any 32-bit or 64-bit system requirements. It is important for you to download software specifically designed for the 32-bit or 64-bit environment, explicitly. |
To ensure that Oracle Fusion Middleware is certified with your hardware and software platforms, refer to Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported System Configurations on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN):
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/fusion-certification-100350.html
To ensure you have enough physical memory, disk space, and other computing resources, review the Oracle Fusion Middleware System Requirements and Specifications document on OTN:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/fusion-requirements-100147.html
To ensure you have considered the interoperability and compatibility of Oracle Fusion Middleware products with any existing Oracle products you may have installed, review the Oracle Fusion Middleware Interoperability and Compatibility Guide.
Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) provides three types of installers, depending on the product you are downloading:
The Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebCenter Content, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Identity and Access Management product installers.
These installers are full installers that can also function as update installers. They can be used to update an existing 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0), 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0), or 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) Oracle home, or they can be used to install a new, complete Oracle home.
Oracle Identity Management and Web Tier Utilities product installers.
These installers are update-only installers, which require an existing Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0), 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0), or 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) Oracle home.
Oracle WebLogic Server installers.
Oracle WebLogic Server provides both full installers (for new installations) and separate, update-only installers (for existing Middleware homes).
For more information about the types of Oracle WebLogic Server installers, see "Types of Installers" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server.
Notes:
Update-only installers are available only on My Oracle Support.
For information about the difference between Oracle Identity Management and the Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite, see "Understanding Oracle Identity Management" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Identity Management.

If you are running Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0), then special instructions apply and additional downloads are required.
For a summary of the tasks required to update your environment from 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) to 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0), see "Using Patch Assistant to Migrate from Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) to Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0)" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Planning Guide.
This procedure requires that you install and configure a complete 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) environment and then use a set of patch scripts to move your configuration and data to the new installation. Then, you can apply the 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) patch set to the 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) environment.
To prepare for the update from 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) to 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0), you must download the following:
The Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.2 full installer, which is required in order to install and configure Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0). You can find this download on Oracle Software Delivery Cloud or OTN.
The Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.5 upgrade installer, which must be later applied to the 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) Middleware home before you can apply the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) patch set.
To locate the correct Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.5 upgrade installer on My Oracle Support, see Section 5.5, "Downloading Oracle WebLogic Server Patches for Existing 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0), 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0), and 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) Installations."
The Oracle Fusion Middleware Patch Scripts (11.1.1.2.0), which provide a set of scripts that includes the Oracle Fusion Middleware Patch Assistant.
Note: The Oracle Fusion Middleware Patch Scripts (11.1.1.2.0) are required only if you are currently running Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0). |
Patch Assistant enables you to migrate your existing configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) components to a new 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) installation. The Patch Scripts are available as a separate download on the Oracle Technology Network (OTN).
The 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) downloads for any products you have installed and configured in your 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) Middleware home.
These Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) downloads are available on Oracle Software Delivery Cloud and OTN.
The 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.5.0) installer for any products you have installed and configured in your 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) Middleware home. This download will be used to patch your newly updated 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0) Middleware home.
For more information, see Section 5.6, "Downloading Oracle Fusion Middleware Patches for Existing 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.2.0), 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.3.0), and 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0) Installations."
After you have downloaded all the necessary software, you can then proceed to install and configure your software.
For an overview of the installation instructions, specific to your starting point, refer to "Understanding Your Installation Starting Point" in the Oracle Fusion Middleware Installation Planning Guide.
