create-request-limit

Syntax

tadm create-request-limit common_options --config=config_name 
--vs=vs_name (--max-rps=x | --max-connections=c) [--condition=expr] request_limit_name

Description

Use this command to create a request limit rule.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration for which you want to create a request limit rule.

--vs|-s

Specify the name of the virtual server.

--max-rps|-r

Specify the maximum requests per second.

--max-connections|-x

Specify the maximum number of concurrent connections to a server. Values are 0 or a positive integer. Default: 0. The maximum allowable value is 20480.

--condition|-C

Specify the condition for the request limit.

Operands

request-limit-name

Specify the request limit rule name.

Example

tadm create-request-limit --user=admin --host=admin.example.com 
--password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 
--no-prompt --config=www.example.org 
--vs=soa.example.org --max-connections=25 request-limit-1

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
