tadm set-cache-prop common_options --config=config_name (property_name=property_value)+
Use this command to define or change caching properties for a configuration.
For information about common_options
, run the help command.
--config|-c
Specify the name of the configuration to set the cache properties.
property-name=property-value
Specify name=value
pairs for one or more properties that you want to define. The name=value
pairs should be separated by spaces.
You can set the following cache properties:
enabled
: Specifies whether the server should change caching properties.
Values: true
, false
. Default: true
.
max-entries
: Specifies the maximum number of objects for which the content should be cached.
Values: 1 to 1073741824. Default: 1024.
replacement
: Specifies the algorithm for cache replacement.
Values: lru
, lfu
, and false
. Default: lru
.
max-heap-object-size
: Specifies the maximum size of objects that should be cached. Objects larger than the specified size are not cached.
Values: 0 to 214783647. Default: 512 KB.
max-heap-space
: Specifies the maximum number (in bytes) of heap that is used for caching response objects. Values: 0 to 1099511627776. Default: 10 MB.
To reset a property to its default value, do not provide a property value.
For example, property-name=<empty_string>
tadm set-cache-prop --user=admin --host=admin.example.com --password-file=./admin.pwd --port=8989 --prompt=false --config=www.example.org max-heap-object-size=1237 max-entries=1293
The following exit values are returned:
0: command executed successfully
>0: error in executing the command
