Description of the illustration sbpms_decision

This graphic illustrates the components that Policy Controller uses to make policy decisions before it sends them to your PCEF. You use the Policy Designer user interface to create Policy Profiles to send to the Policy Controller. The Policy Controller interprets the policy profiles using data from the Service Broker Subscriber Store and Policy Controller's internal data. Policy Controller also uses data from application functions and from the network to interpret the rules. Once the rules are interpreted, Policy Controller sends them to your PCEF for enforcement.
