Enable Socket Direct
Protocol for a network channel
You can configure a network
channel to use socket direct protocol (SDP).
To configure SDP for a channel:
If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the
Administration Console, expand Environment and
select Servers.
On the
Servers page, select a server.
Select
Protocols >
Channels.
On the
Network Channels page, select a channel.
On the
Configuration > General page, select
Advanced.
Select Enable SDP Protocol.
Click
Save.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes. Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
