public interface BatchStreamSink

extends StreamSink

Interface to be implemented by beans that want to receive a batch of events modeling a OCEP stream. A OCEP stream are append-only, that is, events are always appended to the end of the stream. OCEP streams are unbounded, and hence generally need a window to be defined before it can be processed. Events received from a OCEP stream have non-decreasing time-stamps.

onInsertEvents

public void onInsertEvents(java.util.Collection events)
                    throws EventRejectedException

Call-back method for receiving a batch of events of type insert. Events of type insert are used to model streams, as streams are append-only. In case of single event, call-back method of StreamSink will be invoked.

Parameters:

events - a collection of events of type insert

Throws:

EventRejectedException - - user may raise this exception to notify framework that event is rejected.
