This graphic shows the Specify Schema screen in the Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports, and Discoverer installer. At the top of the screen is the Connect String field, which is used to enter the database connection details. It is followed by a table that lists the schemas that are required for the components you are installing.
In this example, both the PORTAL and DISCOVERER schemas are listed in the table.
In the PORTAL row, the check box is selected and dimmed, so you cannot deselect it. In the Schema Name column of that row, you must enter PORTAL
as the schema name, because that is always the name of the Oracle Portal 10g schema. Then, you must enter the password for the Oracle Portal 10g schema.
In the DISCOVERER row, you can enter whatever prefix you selected for the Oracle BI Discoverer 11g schema, followed by the password you created for the schema earlier in this chapter.
The purpose of this graphic is to show how you must select the Oracle Portal 10g schema and the Oracle BI Discoverer 11g schema.
