Oracle® Insurance Policy Administration 9.4.1.0 E23637_01
There are two sections on the Policy screen that contain policy information: Policy and Policy Detail. The Policy section contains basic policy information found in the top portion of the Policy screen. It remains the same regardless of the type of policy.
Company is the company the policy is associated with. There can be multiple companies or subsidiaries or just one primary company.
Plan is the brand name of the company’s proprietary product.
Plan Date is the date used to record policy application information.
Note:The entry date can be used as a cross reference for state approval requirements. This date can be back-dated or forward-dated.
Issue State is the state where the policy will be in effect. This field can be used to cross check against state insurance requirements.
Policy Name is an optional secondary indentifier for the policy. This helps identify policies during a search.
The Policy Detail section contains specific policy information and will vary depending on the type of policy.
