Program Statuses

The status a program is in determines the actions that can be performed on the activities associated with the program. An explanation of each program status is provided below. They are listed in the order a program moves through from creation to termination.

Pending Ready: the program has been added, but the green Start icon has not yet been clicked.
Ready: the green Start icon has been clicked and the SetUpProgram activity has been created and added to the Activity screen. It has NOT been processed.
Shadow: this status can only be achieved if the program is deleted from PendingReady or Ready status.
Pending: the SetUpProgram activity has been processed and the scheduled program activity has been spawned. The scheduled program activity has NOT been processed.
Active: the first scheduled program activity has been processed and continues to be spawned and processed. The program end date has not yet been reached.
Suspend: the program has been temporarily halted.
InActive: this program has a pending terminating activity spawned on the Activity screen, but the activity has NOT processed.
Terminated: the program has ended.
Locked: the program is locked down and unavailable for update. A locked status occurs whenever a Roll back, Recycle or Change Pending operation has not completed processing. After the operation successfully processes, the locked status is removed.
