Deploy Release Package

After the configuration package has been created, added to a migration set, put in a release package, built and promoted, then it is ready to be deployed.

Steps to Deploy the Release Package

Log-out of the source environment and log-in to the target environment.

Note: If the Release Management folder is not visible in the Admin Explorer tab, then check the asenv.properties file and make sure the target environment property is set to ivs.release_management.entry_env=false.

Navigate to Admin Explorer and open the Release Management folder.
Open the Release Package folder and right-click on the release package.
Select Deploy Package.

Once the release package has been added to the target environment, the release package will still be visible under the Release Package node, but no actions can be performed on the package. The right-click menu will no longer appear.
