After you create a JDBC data
source, you can monitor it in the Administration Console. The main steps
for monitoring JDBC data sources are:
View the
statistics for a JDBC data source to look for unusual activity, such
as an abnormal number of requests waiting for a connection. See Monitor
Statistics for a JDBC data source.
Optionally manually reserve a connection from a data source and
run a test query using the connection to make sure that connections to
the database are still viable. See Test JDBC data
sources.
