Delete an Enterprise application

Before you begin

Before you can delete an enterprise application, you must stop it to ensure that it is not still running and servicing client applications. See Start and stop a deployed Enterprise application.

When you delete an Enterprise application, Weblogic Server no longer has any knowledge of it and you can obviously no longer start it. If you need to deploy and start the application again, you must re-install it.

To delete an Enterprise Application, follow these steps:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Console, click Deployments. A table in the right pane displays all deployed Enterprise Applications and Application Modules.
  3. In the table, locate the Enterprise application you want to delete.
  4. Check the box to the far left of the Enterprise application.
  5. Click the Delete button at the top or bottom of the Deployments table.
  6. Click Yes to confirm your decision.
  7. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
    Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
