Label Disks

Setting a label provisions a disk to be used and managed by Oracle AFD. Use the Label Disks page to label the disks.

To label disks:

1. Navigate to the Disk Groups page.

2. Click Create, and then click Label Disks.

3. Configure the following elements:

Element	Description
AFD Discovery String	The Oracle AFD disk discovery string that is used to identify the disks to be managed by Oracle AFD. Click Update to update the list of disks with the discovery string.
Show Candidate or Show All	Choose one of the following: Show Candidate. Select this option to see the all the AFD enabled disks, that don't have an associated label. Show All. Select this option to see the all the AFD enabled disks.
Label Prefix	The label prefix you want to add to the disks. Select the disks from the list, to apply the prefix.
Apply Prefix	Click Apply Prefix to apply the prefix to all the selected disks.
Label Disks and close Window	Sets the labels as listed in the Label Name column, to all the selected disks.
