Resize ASM Volume Page

Use the Resize ASM Volume page to expand or shrink the ASM volume.

Note: If the volume is formatted as an ASM Cluster File System (ACFS), it has to be resized as an Oracle File System. The Resize option is disabled for ACFS volumes.

Element Description
Volume Name of the ASM volume that you want to resize.
Disk Group Name of the ASM disk group for the volume.
Disk Group Usable Space (GB) Indicates the usage (in GB) that is specified for this volume. It need not be ACFS only.
Disk Group Free Space (GB) Indicates the amount of free space (in GB) available in the disk group that can be safely utilized.
Usage Name of the ACFS that the volume is formatted as.
Mount Point Location at which the ACFS file is mounted This field is displayed only when the volume is associated with an ACFS and ACFS is in the "MOUNTED" state.
Size The new size for the volume. Enter a size in this field to resize the ASM volume. You can choose one of the following units: M(Megabytes), G(Gigabytes), or T(Terabytes).
