Release 10.0.3
E25677-01

The table below shows the migration paths to follow for each available Oracle ATG Web Commerce product upgrade. For procedures, see the appropriate migration guide, which provides the following information:

  • An overview of new features
  • Steps for creating your new database tables and migrating data from your old database
  • Steps for migrating code and settings from the old version to the new one
  • Any additional instructions or information required to complete the migration

Notes

  • Separate migration documentation is not provided for Oracle ATG Web Commerce 10.0.3 or individual 9.x or 2007.x releases. Please follow the instructions in the 2007.1 or 9.1 to 10.0 migration guides, as shown below, when upgrading to Oracle ATG Web Commerce 10.0.3 from any of these versions.
  • Migration kits containing scripts to upgrade your database schemas are available for download from My Oracle Support. To locate them, log into My Oracle Support and select Patches and Updates > Product or Family (Advanced). Select the appropriate Oracle ATG Web Commerce product from the product list and specify the release version you want. Click Search. For 10.0.3 upgrades, use the 10.0.1 migration kits.
  • For Oracle ATG Web Commerce Service Center, Knowledge Manager, and Knowledge Manager Self Service, use the Oracle ATG Web Knowledge Manager migration kit.

The upgrade paths shown in the table above apply to the ATG platform and all applications. However, some applications may not require data migration for all the steps in a given path. For example, there were no database changes between ATG Campaign Optimizer 2006.3 and ATG Campaign Optimizer 9.0, and therefore no migration script was provided for this step. Please review the migration guides for each path to determine where data migration is required.

Additional Migration Documents

Migration documentation for earlier releases of ATG products is available on request from Oracle Technical Support.
