Period groups contain shortcuts to individual periods and period groups. Therefore, period groups contain some aggregate period data. The methods used to calculate aggregate data for individual fields varies by node type. Aggregate period data is calculated by the following three methods:
Sum: The data is the sum of the individual periods in that period group.
Average: The data is calculated by taking the average of the individual periods.
Last: The data displays the quantity for the last period in the period group.
