This figure shows a typical ACSLS environment. An ACSLS Server, consisting of a workstation, ACSLS software, and ACSLS database, is connected by the ACSLS control path with the Oracle Secure Backup Media Server (Linux 32). The ACSLS server is also connected to a Library Management Unit (LMU). The Oracle Secure Backup Server (Linux 32) is connected to an Oracle Secure Backup client and the Oracle Secure Backup Administrative Server using an Ethernet network. The LMU is in turn connected with the Library Storage Module (LSM) by another control path. The client systems are connected to the LSM by a data path.
