This figure shows the relationship of the Offline Mediation Controller components, that is, Administration Client, Administration Server, Node Manager, the local data manager, and the remote data manager with external network devices, the SNMP Trap Host, and BSS/OSS.

Administration Client is connected to Administration Server.

Administration Server is connected to Node Manager.

The Mediation Host is comprised of the local data manager, Node Manager, remote data manager, and the functional nodes (the collection cartridges, the enhanced processor cartridges, the aggregation processor cartridges, and the distribution cartridges). The functional nodes work in a node chain.

The Network Devices (or network elements) send data to the first of the functional nodes, the CC. The node chain processes the data and passes it to the BSS/OSS.*
