1 Summary of Customer-Reported Fixes

This chapter provides an overview of the customer-reported bug fixes that were introduced in Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller 6.0 Patch Set 1 through Offline Mediation Controller 6.0 Patch Set 3.

Customer-Reported Fixes

Table 1-1 lists the service request (SR) issues reported by external sources and provides a brief description of the resolution. The SRs are grouped by the respective patch sets.

(Patch Set 3) When the output directory of the GTP Collection Cartridge was full, though the input records were not being processed by the cartridge and the error messages were being logged, the cartridge was sending out acknowledgment messages to Charging Data Function (CDF) to indicate successful processing of records.

(Patch Set 3) The default expiry of the certificates generated by the packaged scripts to configure Secured Socket Layer (SSL) was 90 days. Even after the expiry of the certificates the mediation system components were communicating with each other.

(Patch Set 2) In the previous releases, ASN.1 Collection Cartridge (CC) was not able to collect records with header information from Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW).

This has been fixed.

(Patch Set 2) When a node manager is restarted, the Aggregation Processor (AP) cartridge flush timer values were getting reset to the configured Flush Time value. Because of the timer reset, the node kept the keys for an extended period of time, which resulted in continuous increase in the heap.

(Patch Set 1) When directing a connection from one node to another using Administration Client, the connections between the nodes were getting dropped.
