Use the ASM Parameters page to review or configure the values of the various initialization parameters defined for the ASM instance. You can retain the default settings, or choose to modify the settings for the ASM parameters.

| Value | Value alloted to the ASM initialization parameter. For e.g., the value of the ASM parameter diagnostic_dest is the path specified for this parameter. |
| Override Default | Use this option to override the default value of the ASM initialization parameter. |
| Basic | A check mark against this field indicates that the corresponding ASM initialization parameter is a basic parameter. This field is non-editable. |
| Category | Denotes the category to which the ASM initialization parameter belongs to. This field is non-editable. |
Click Show Description to view a detailed definition of each ASM parameter. To save the changes made to the ASM parameters and return to the Create ASM page, click Close.
