When a portal opens, some or all of its zones may be
collapsed (i.e., minimized) or open (i.e., the zone's content
is visible). To view the information in a collapsed zone, click
the zone button
.

CAUTION:
Recommendation. We
strongly recommend that user preferences be set up to collapse
zones that aren't needed every time a portal is displayed.
Why? Because the system does not perform processing
until the zone is expanded. In other words, indicating a zone
is collapsed improves response times.
