This graphic describes the overall roadmap for upgrading your application environment as procedure consisting of the following steps:
If you have custom security providers, you should upgrade those providers on each machine in your application environment.
If you are using the Node Manager, you should upgrade the Node Manager on each machine in your application environment.
Upgrade the WebLogic domain on the machine hosting the Administration Server.
If you have Managed Server instances hosted on remote machines, you should upgrade the WebLogic domain on each machine that hosts those Managed Servers.
