IContentItem.GetDatePropertyValue Method 

Returns the value of the specified IDateProperty.

DateTime GetDatePropertyValue(
   IBaseProperty dateProperty
);

Parameters

dateProperty
The IDateProperty; cannot be null.

Return Value

The value of the specified IDateProperty. An ArgumentException will be thrown if content item does not contain the specified property.

Exceptions

Exception Type Condition
ArgumentException The item does not contain the specified property.
InvalidOperationException The item has been removed or the value has not been set for the specified property.
