Oracle BI Repository (RPD) Trimming

Oracle BI Repository (RPD) Trimming is now a process that is performed in the BI Provisioning phase of the Oracle Fusion Applications installation.

Oracle BI Repository (RPD) Restoration

You must restore the 'Golden' Metadata Repository (RPD) for Oracle BI Applications as part of the post-installation setup steps (for more information, see Step 14 in Section 3.1.1, "High-level Tasks for Setting Up Oracle BI Applications").

New DAC Physical Data Sources Connection and Informatica Relational Connections

A new connection FUSION_V1 replaces the previous three connections FUSION_V1_FSCM, FUSION_V1_HCM, and FUSION_V1_CRM.

New Manual Patches for ATGLite and FSM

New patches are available for ATGLite and FSM.

New Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager

Functional Configuration is performed in a Task-based guided format using Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager and Oracle Functional Setup Manager (FSM). For each Offering that you are deploying, Oracle Functional Setup Manager provides a list of tasks that must be performed to configure that Offering. For more information, see Chapter 5, "Performing Functional Configuration".

Maintenance and Administration of Functional Configuration Data is performed using Oracle BI Applications Configuration Manager. For more information, see Chapter 6, "Administering and Maintaining Functional Configuration Data".

Refer to the system requirements and certification documentation for information about hardware and software requirements, platforms, databases, and other information. Both of these documents are available on Oracle Technology Network (OTN).
