The elements include Oracle Directory Services Manager, Oracle Directory Server Instance 1, Oracle Directory Replication Server, OID Monitor, Oracle Process Manager and Notification Server (OPMN), and the Oracle Database Server.
Two-way arrows representing Oracle Net Services are used for all connections between the Oracle Database Server and the following:
Oracle Directory Server Instance 1 non-SSL port (389 for this topology)
Oracle Directory Server Instance 1 SSL-enabled port (636 for this topology)
The OID Monitor
LDAP is used for connections between the Oracle Directory Server Instance 1 and the following:
Oracle Directory Services Manager
Oracle Directory Replication Server
The Oracle Directory Server Instance 1 and the Oracle Directory Replication Server connect to OID Monitor by way of the operating system.
The OID Monitor connects to the Oracle Process Manager and Notification Server through a one-way arrow representing Oracle Net Services.
