The Job Manager is used to invoke all asynchronous jobs: schedule, level, summarize, apply actuals, recalculateResourceAssignmentcosts, and store period performance. It is retrieved for a particular session by calling Session.getJobManager(). You can check the status of a particular asynchronous job by calling getJobStatus and passing in the job ID returned when the job was created. Other methods exist for deleting a job and getting a list of all jobs.
