================================================================================ Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator (2.3.0 Revision B) * Known Issue (LDI-172): In the Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator Guide, the documentation for the Run Graph component specifies the data type of the RunID output field as "decimal". The correct data type for this field is "long". ================================================================================ Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator (2.3.0 Revision A) * Known Issue (LDI-127): In the Text Tagger - Regex component, if the Target Field Name is the same as the Source Field Name, the data in the Target Field Name is always overwritten. This behavior happens even if the Overwrite Target Field is set to "false". Thus, regular expression matches cannot be appended to the data within the Source Field. The workaround is to use a Target Field that is different from the Source Field, and append the Target Field data to the Source Field data later in the Integrator graph. ================================================================================ Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator GENERAL (2.3.0) - Release Date: April 2012 - This release is compatible with the Oracle Endeca Server 2.3.0 release. - The release notes may have been updated since the release date. Access the Oracle Documentation page at http://docs.oracle.com for the most recent version of the release notes. INSTALLATION (2.3.0) - See the "Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Installation Guide" for installation information. BUG FIXES (2.3.0) * LDI-80: Windows uninstalls left directories behind that prevented or corrupted the re-installation of the Integrator. These directories are now properly removed when uninstalling the Integrator. * LDI-102: This fixes a problem in which this error was thrown when running a WebServiceClient: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/wsdl/WSDLException * LDI-106: This satisfied a request to provide the 32-bit version of the Integrator. * LDI-111: The build number was not in previous versions of the Integrator. The build number can now be found on the About option located in the Help drop-down menu. * LCORE-141: The final step of a bulk load in the Dgraph is to perform a merge of all the data and update the spelling dictionary. This step can be time consuming for large data sets. So in the case where the ingest pipeline is composed of a number of sequential bulk loads, this work is redundant for all but the last bulk load. To allow the user to control the data merges and dictionary updates, the Integrator Bulk Add/Replace Records connector now has option settings that can disable the final merge as well as the dictionary update. KNOWN ISSUES (2.3.0) * LDI-36: If two or more Integrator components are running in the same phase and they are all talking to the same Web service, then they may get severe errors and stack traces. The workaround is to run each component in a separate phase. * LDI-119: On some versions of Linux, the Integrator Welcome page is launched in an external browser (rather than within the Integrator itself) and the page will not display its normal two links ("Start using Integrator" and "Open and view the Quick Start project"). This can occur if you fresh-installed Oracle Linux 5 or Red Hat 5 and then applied OS updates. The updates can update the Firefox browser to a version that does not show the Welcome page correctly. To work around this problem, just close the external browser and you will be in the Integrator perspective. ================================================================================
