Steps:
You have decided to add more text to your recording script. You have zoomed the timeline and determined the position where you want to insert the new sound.
Step 1Start the insert sound.
Click the Insert sound button.
Step 2The Sound Recorder opens in Insert Sound mode. You can start recording your sound as soon as the recorder opens.
Step 3While inserting sound into an existing recording means that you do not have to re-record the entire script, it is often difficult to match the sound levels of the existing sound.
Step 4Click the OK button when you are done recording.
Step 5The sound is inserted into the waveform starting at your selection point position.
Step 6We have changed the zoom to view the entire recording. Notice that the new recording does not match the amplification level of the surrounding sound.
Tip: If your inserted sound does not match the levels of the existing sound, you can try to amplify the new recording for a better match.
