Whether you are implementing help integration or SmartHelp, you need content that has been published to the Player format from the Developer. You can create and publish this content yourself, or you can use purchased content from your enterprise application vendor.
Create and publish content – An author will use the Developer to create and record content, and then publish it to the Player format. This results in a folder structure containing a subfolder with the name PlayerPackage. It is this PlayerPackage folder that you need.
Purchase content – Some enterprise application vendors sell pre-packaged content for their applications to help customers understand application functionality and configuration options. If you purchase content, you should receive a complete PlayerPackage.
