Steps:
The Views and Toolbars section is already selected. Add another document to the selection.
Press the [Ctrl] key and click the Changing Word Wrap Options topic.
Step 2Change the language property for both documents to Dutch.
Click in the Language field.
Step 3Click the Language list button.
Step 4Click the Dutch list item.
Step 5Change the Template language to Dutch.
Click in the Template field.
Step 6Click the Browse button for the Template field.
Step 7Use the Look in list to select the Dutch language folder nl.
Click the Look in list.
Step 8Select the Dutch language folder.
Click the nl folder.
Step 9Select the desired template.
Click the Microsoft - Dutch template.
Step 10Click the Open button.
Step 11Change the resolution for the Views and Toolbars section.
Click the Views and Toolbars list item.
Step 12Click in the Resolution field.
Step 13Click the Resolution list button.
Step 14Click the 640 x 480 list item.
Step 15Link a new section to the Views and Toolbars section.
Click the Link New Section button.
Step 16Enter the desired information into the Edit field. Enter "Test".
Step 17Press [Enter].
Step 18Notice that the new section inherits the language, resolution, and template of its parent. It would also inherit the glossary, if one had been assigned.
Step 19Link a new topic to the Test section.
Click the Link New Topic button.
Step 20Enter the desired information into the Edit field. Enter "Test2".
Step 21Press [Enter].
Step 22Notice that the new topic also inherits the language, resolution, and template of its parent and would inherit a glossary, if one was assigned.
Tip: New web pages you create from the Concept pane in the Outline Editor for a section or topic inherit the glossary and language settings of the parent document.
Step 23Click the Work with Views list item.
Step 24Notice that the general properties have not changed. Changing the general properties of a parent does not change the property assignments for existing documents, even if they are linked.
Step 25Double-click the Changing Word Wrap Options topic to open it in the Topic Editor.
Step 26Notice the translation for the "Press [Enter] to start" template text in the Introduction frame.
Step 27Click the first F frame.
Step 28The custom text remains in English. Changing the Template property does not affect custom text. This text must be manually translated.
This frame also uses the template for the text in the bubble. Notice the language used for the instruction to "Click the View menu."
Step 29Click the tab Close button to close the topic.
