After completing this topic, you will be able to save and publish using a customized document template.
Steps:
Before saving the template, check the syntax.
Click the Check Syntax button.
Step 1The syntax is correct.
Click the OK button.
Step 2Close and save the template.
Click the Close button.
Step 3Click the Yes button to confirm that you want to save the changes.
Step 4Copy the template and paste it to the publishing project.
Right-click the PrintTemplate.docm list item.
Step 5Click the Copy command.
Step 6We have switched to the System Process_WSG publishing package. Paste the copied template.
Click the Paste button.
Step 7Click the Yes button to replace the existing file.
Step 8Save the publishing project.
Click the Save button.
Step 9Click the Close button to close the publishing project.
Note: You do not have to close a publishing project to use it. You may want to leave it open while you test it; but be sure to save your changes.
Step 10For the selected topic, publish a System Process Document to the current publishing destination using the WSG category.
Click the Publish button.
Step 13We are publishing the System Process Document to the Publish folder.
Step 14We have jumped to the Advanced Publishing Options page in the Publishing Wizard and selected the WSG category.
Step 15We will publish the System Process format and open the document.
Step 16Notice the logo and text changes in the header and field changes in the Properties table.
Step 19We have scrolled to the topic Procedure, which we have renamed Activity. Notice the smaller size of the frame screenshot and the font and table border changes in the Table of Action Steps.
