After completing this topic, you will be able to answer a question.
Steps:
Click the Answer a Question link.
Step 2When you access the Answer a Question page, all of the questions that you have already answered appear, in addition to any new questions.
Click the Formatting Cells link.
Step 3Click in the A field to answer the question.
Step 4Enter the desired information into the A field. Enter "Yes, you can create your own custom format.".
Step 5Click the Submit button.

Notice the expert's answer under the question. Also notice that the question Status is changed to Complete answer.
Note: The updated status may not show immediately.
Step 7View the questions that have not been answered.
Click the Show open items only link.
Step 8Show all questions.
Click the Show all items link.
Step 9Create a report.
Click the View Report link.
Step 10Click the Title list.
Step 11You can view a report on all titles or a specific title for which you are assigned as an expert.
Click the Basic Excel Skills list item.
Step 12You can limit the report to activity during a specific date range. Limit the report data to activity starting on a specific date.
Click in the From field.
Step 13Start the report data from December 1, 2011.
Click the 1 in the December calendar month.
Step 14Leave the To field blank to include all activity to today's date in the report.
Click the Next button.
Step 15You can sort the report by title or date.
Click the Sort By list.
Step 16Sort the report by date.
Click the Date of last activity list item.
Step 17Run the report.
Click the Process Report button.
Step 18The Expert Advice Report displays the question and answer activities during the specified date span.
The report includes the subject, activity, and item name for each question. Also included are the names and dates of the user asking the question and the expert answering the question. The expert advice responses are indented under the questions.
If a question was asked while the user was taking the subject (as in the second question), the Activity lists the knowledge path that was open and the Item Name lists the full path to the content item that the user was viewing when she asked a question.
Step 19Return to the Answer a Question page.
Click the Back button.
Step 20Click the Home button.
