C Creating Indexes for Oracle Financial Analytics

This appendix provides information about indexes that should be created to improve performance when using Oracle Financial Analytics. The indexes discussed in this appendix are applicable to Oracle BI Applications release 7.9.6.2.

Note:

After a successful data upgrade, you can drop the indexes referred to in this appendix, except for the ones that already existed in the DAC metadata.

C.1 Indexes for SIL_PositionDimension_UPD7962 Mapping

Make sure the following indexes are created for the SIL_PositionDimension_UPD7962 mapping:

• Primary key index on the ROW_WID column on table W_POSITION_D

• Normal index on the INTEGRATION_ID and DATASOURCE_NUM_ID columns on table W_POSITION_D_7962

C.2 Indexes for SIL_PositionDimensionHierarchy_UPD7962 Mapping

Make sure the following indexes are created for the SIL_PositionDimensionHierarchy_UPD7962 mapping:

• Primary key index on ROW_WID column on table W_POSITION_D

• Primary key index on ROW_WID column on table W_POSITION_DH_7962
