17 Configuring Oracle Manufacturing Analytics

This section describes how to configure Oracle Manufacturing Analytics, and contains the following sections:

For information about configuring Oracle Manufacturing Analytics with Universal Adapter, see Section A.7, "List of Source Files for Oracle Enterprise Asset Management Analytics and Oracle Manufacturing Analytics".

17.1 Overview of Oracle Manufacturing Analytics

The Oracle Manufacturing Analytics application enables you to analyze:

The Manufacturing Analytics module provides summary level performance indicators to help make timely, informed decisions, based on manufacturing execution performance across manufacturing facilities. It helps identify bottlenecks in the production process and analyze impact on overall supply chain effectiveness. It also provides granular visibility into production costs, production cost variances, inventory levels, production quality and production adherence to plan to help with in-depth review of production performance.

The Oracle Manufacturing Analytics application also requires post-load processing mappings to populate its aggregate and derived tables.

17.2 Configuration Required Before a Full Load for Oracle Manufacturing Analytics
