This document provides release notes for Oracle Communications Configuration Management. This document consists of the following sections:
This document is intended for network operators and system engineers using a UNIX-based management station. Prior knowledge of the Configuration Management application is not required. This guide assumes that you:
Have a working knowledge of the UNIX operating system.
Understand your network configuration and the devices managed by Configuration Management.
Have experience with windowing systems, browsers and graphical user interfaces (GUIs).

This section lists the supported environments for Configuration Management (server and client), vendor devices, and operating systems.
This Configuration Management release is certified against the following environments:
Oracle Solaris 10, 64-bit
Oracle Linux 5.5, 64-bit
To ensure that Configuration Management works correctly, install the full OEM version of Solaris.
You can install the following version of Oracle Database:
Oracle 11gR2
Use the default character set.

Configuration Management is compatible with Oracle Communications IP Service Activator 7.2.
Configuration Management is certified with Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.5. You can download WebLogic Server from the Oracle Technology Network Web site:
The following tables list Configuration Management support for vendor devices and operating systems in this release. For more information about which services are supported on each device and OS combination, refer to the respective cartridge guide or device support guide.
Table 1 lists the Cisco IOS XR cartridge support on Cisco devices and IOS XR versions.
Table 2 lists the Cisco IOS cartridge support on Cisco devices and IOS versions.
Table 3 lists the Huawei cartridge support on Huawei devices and VRP versions.
