The network diagram has the following components:
One KVM switch
One Ethernet switch
One Oracle Big Data Appliance server (of 18)
Two InfiniBand gateway switches
Two power distribution units (PDUs)
Four networks are shown in the diagram. The administrative network, the client access network, the Ethernet Over InfiniBand network, and the private InfiniBand network.
The administrative network connects to the KVM switch and the Ethernet switch. From the Ethernet switch, it connects to ETH0 and ILOM of the server, to both PDUs, and to both InfiniBand switches.
The Client Access network has a 10GbE connection to both InfiniBand gateway switches.
The Ethernet Over InfiniBand network connects the server to both InfiniBand gateway switches.
The InfiniBand private network connects to bondib0 on the server and the InfiniBand gateway switches.
