After completing this topic, you will be able to move a document in the Outline Editor.
Steps:
Use the Move buttons on the toolbar to move the Document Basics module above the Applying Formatting module.
Click the Document Basics module.
Step 1Click the Move Up button.
Step 2The Document Basics module appears above the Applying Formatting module.
Moving a parent document also moves the child documents linked to it.
Step 3Drag the Templates section and position it below the Printing a Document topic.
Click the Templates section.
Step 4Press the left mouse button and drag the mouse to the desired location.
Step 5A yellow arrow and an image of the document indicating the position in the outline appears as you drag.
Continue dragging.
Step 6Release the mouse button.
Step 7Use cut and paste to move the Using Tables module to the Formatting Paragraphs section.
Click the Using Tables module.
Step 8Click the Cut button.
Step 9Click the Formatting Paragraphs section.
Step 10Paste the module.
Click the Paste button.
Step 11You can use Undo to correct any mistakes you make while moving documents in the outline. The Outline Editor holds the undo list in memory until you close the outline.
Click the Undo button to undo the last paste action.
Step 12Undo cutting the Using Tables module.
Click the Undo button.
