Reset Player Options

After completing this topic, you will be able to reset Player options.

Steps:

1. We opened the Formatting Numbers section for you. Notice that the outline is not structured in a hierarchy. It contains topics only. Publish the entire outline.

   Step 1

2. Click the File menu.

   Step 2

3. Click the Publish command.

   Step 3

4. Publish to the default publishing destination.

    

   Click the Next > button.

   Step 4

5. Click the Publish entire outline option.

   Step 5

6. Click the Next > button.

   Step 6

7. In this example, we will publish the content to the same publishing destination and replace the old content.

    

   Click the Continue button

   Step 7

8. Reset the Player options to use the settings in the Options dialog box.

    

   Click the Use Options Settings button.

   Step 8

9. Notice that the Marquee color changed back to Red and the Enable skipping in Try It! mode is enabled.

   Step 9

10. Click the Standalone Topic Files checkbox to deselect it.

    Step 10

11. Publish the selected content.

     

    Click the Publish button.

12. Launch the content.

     

    Click the Launch the content automatically option.

13. Click the Finish button.

14. Notice that when the highest level of an outline contains only topics, a hierarchy does not appear in the Player.
