Steps:
Open the document format you want to customize.
Double-click the System Process_WSG list item.
Step 1Double-click the lang folder to open it.
Step 2Open the appropriate language folder.
Double-click the en list item.
Step 3Copy the PrintTemplate.docm file and paste it to your desktop.
Note: Although you can directly open the template from the publishing project, for this example we are going to create a copy on the desktop.
Click the PrintTemplate.docm list item.
Step 4Click the Copy button.
Step 5We have switched to the desktop. Paste the copied template file to a blank area of your desktop.
Right-click in a blank area on the desktop.
Step 6Click the Paste command.
Step 7Double-click the PrintTemplate.docm file to open it in Microsoft Word.
Step 8In our example, the document template opens in Microsoft Word 2007.
Note: If you are using Microsoft Word 2003 to publish or customize templates, you must install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.
Step 9The Security Warning tells you that macros have been disabled. Enable the macros for this template.
Click the Options button.
Step 10Click the Enable this content option.
Step 11Click the OK button.
