  5. These are the playback mode buttons. You can use them in any combination to specify the playback mode(s) in which the selected text will appear.

In this example, you want the selected text to appear in See It!/Try It! and Know It? modes, but not in Do It! mode.

    Step 5
  6. Mark the text to appear in Know It? mode.

Click the Visible in Know It? button.

    Step 6
  7. Mark the text to NOT show for Do It! mode.

Click the Visible in Do It! button to deselect it.

    Step 7
  8. To save time, we will navigate to the Explanation frame and select the custom text for you.

    Step 8
  9. Mark the text to show for See It!/Try It! modes only.

Click the Visible in Do It! button to deselect it.

    Step 9
  10. Only the Visible in See It!/Try It! button is enabled for the frame text.

This means that the Explanation frame will only appear in See It! and Try It! modes.

    Step 10

  11. We have previewed the Job Aid for the Opening a Document topic.

The Explanation frame does not appear since no text is marked for Do It! mode. Also, the Note text does not appear on the step to click the Local Disk (C:) because that text is not marked for Do It! mode.

    Step 11
