Play Sound in the Web Page Editor

After completing this topic, you will be able to play sound in the Web Page Editor.

Steps:

1. Notice the selection point at the beginning of the waveform.

   Step 1

2. Play the sound recording.

    

   Click the Play button.

   Step 2

3. During playback, a vertical line moves indicating the position in the waveform of the currently playing sound.

   Step 3

4. Stop the playback.

    

   Click the Stop button.

   Step 4

5. If playback is set to an undesirable level, you can use the Sound Tuning Wizard to change the playback volume.

    

   Note: See Adjust Sound Controls in the Edit Sound section for information about using the Sound Tuning Wizard.

   Step 5

6. Move the selection point.

    

   Click in the waveform.

   Step 6

7. Play the recording from the selection point to the end of the sound file.

    

   Click the Play button.

8. Notice that the play position indicator shows the current playback position on the waveform.

9. Stop the playback.

    

   Click the Stop button.

   Step 9

10. Select a segment of sound to play.

     

    Press the left mouse button and drag the mouse to the right in the waveform.
