Add a New Entry to the Input Text List


After completing this topic, you will be able to add new text to the input text list.


Steps:

  1. Notice that the input list does not contain the < Something > entry.

     

    The list was cleared so that only the default entry appears.

     

    Clearing the input list leaves only one correct entry for Know It? mode.

  2. We have switched to the Player - Do It! view. The same template is used for both Do It! and Know It! modes.

  3. Add the new text entry Brochure.rtf to the input list.

     

    Click the String input options button.

  4. Click the Add new text command.

  5. Enter the desired information into the field. Enter "Brochure.rtf".

  6. Click the OK button.

  7. Additional input entries appear in Do It! and Know It? modes.

  8. Add another text entry named Intro letter.rtf to the list.

     

    Click the String input options button.

  9. Click the Add new text command.

  10. Enter the desired information into the field. Enter "Intro letter.rtf".

  12. The new text appears in the Know It? and Do It! bubbles.

  13. We have changed the display to view the bubble text in the Player - See It! / Try It! mode.

     

    In these modes, only the default entry appears in the bubble.
