If you can open an application and view its data within Smart View, you can use that data in a Crystal Ball model.
To share data with Crystal Ball:
Follow the instructions in the Smart View User's Guide to connect to a service that is compatible with Smart View (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, Fusion Edition, for example).
Open or create a file within Smart View. Modify the view as desired.
Within Crystal Ball EPM, build a model that references cells within the other application's data view.
Run the Crystal Ball simulation and analyze it.
When you refresh data in the other application's view, the referenced cells will also update in Crystal Ball.
